The Canteen: Help!

I need an appetizer dish to bring somewhere....any good ideas?

Always being deemed the least domestic of my home growing up, I surprised myself when after marrying my best friend, Erik, I thoroughly enjoyed cooking! I do love having a recipe, but I also inherited my mother's tendency to not measure and improvise on the spot. Then during my pregnancy with our son, Graham, I became addicted to baking. My body thanks me for keeping that addiction to a minimum:) We are currently loving life out in Colorado and enjoy making our kitchen the hub of our household. Don't you love how food creates parties, traditions, and relationships?

After three years of living the life of a Bostonian (and loving all things New England!) Rachel and her husband, Ben, now live in Michigan with their one year old son, Jonah. Besides being a wife and a mommy, Rachel loves to watch/make/do/play all things athletic and creative. With a fondness for travel, B&R (and hopefully, someday, J) love to try all types of ethnic and international restaurants and foods. In the kitchen, Rachel can't cook without making a mess, hates to measure, and is always adding 'this and that' to her recipes-- just to make them her own.

Sarah is a wife to the love of her life, Josh, and a mommy to her sweet baby boy, Rudy Thomas. She is also the proud owner of a rotten English Bulldog named Murphy. She has degrees in Exercise Science and Nursing, but is currently enjoying and savoring her time staying at home with her boys. She enjoys riding her Schwinn cruiser, reading blogs, and sassing people. She's a true Midwesterner, and it's evident in the kitchen. She loves making (and eating) comfort foods and baking anything that satisfies her sweet tooth.
